Tiger iron is a quartz-lignite aggregate gemstone containing beautiful banded layers of golden Tiger Eye, metallic Hematite and rich Red Jasper. 

Because of its attractive color combination, Tiger-Iron is often used in jewelry and ornaments. The name Tiger-Iron is derived from the word Tiger in Tiger Eye, and from Iron because of the mineral make-up of Hematite.

The trio of minerals that make up this stone can give you a centering and calming energy, which makes tiger iron a very powerful grounding stone.
